OMG. Chills.
Thanks, Lisa!
A fun analogy from random insights over dinner with friends in Winthrop:
Love might be like a hot air balloon, but there is one only parachute.
A cute thought
with a lot of substance.
OMG, I can’t believe I only just realized this was The Office wedding. HAHAHAHAHA brilliant.
“Did you see this? It was on Youtube.”
“I bought those boat tickets the day I saw that Youtube video. I knew we’d need a back-up plan. The boat was actually Plan C. The church was Plan B, and Plan A was….marrying her a long long time ago….pretty much the day I met her.”
If you want to stay happily married, do what Beyonce did – get with someone who’s at least five years older, and not as smart:

Hahaha
Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
Joseph Addison
One of my favorite C-pop songs ever.
The song was inspired by the Ang Lee movie “Lust Caution,” and the title, 落叶归根, is a Chinese idiom translated as “falling leaf returns to root.”
Youtube the music video, it’s pretty cheesy: young boy is a violin prodigy who plays for audiences on the street. Little boy meets little girl who hands him a pretty leaf and then leaves without a word…until, years later, they find each other again. But then, when she has to say goodbye, I think she gets hit by a car…?! The music video is deliberately vague, but anyway, it’s really beautiful music.
我的爱像落叶归根
家唯独在你身边
This song was featured in the “Where the Wild Things Are” trailer. Love the sound.
